EPISODE 1: THE MUSE IS FOOD // KOTO HIBACHI
KOTO TOGO // FEBRUARY 2025 BLACK HISTORY MONTH
The Unsurfaced™ is a short series that invites viewers into our workspace through various projects. The first episode explores a food photography project with The Muse Is Food for Koto Hibachi, a Chicago-based, Black-owned restaurant on the South Side.
We concepted the idea of Koto Hibachi’s Koto Togo and Southside’s Best Hibachi billboard installations with the idea that professional food photography with the Koto Togo call to action would drive new and recurring visitors into the store’s 31st Street location.
We’re proud to support Koto Hibachi Chicago and excited to explore future Koto Togo branded content and messaging with Koto Hibachi.
The billboards launched on February 3, 2025, just past the 31st Street exit on Chicago’s Dan Ryan expressway.

Bevel is one of our favorite brands, and their products are an integral part of our daily men’s grooming routines. The Fresh Never Fades campaign pays homage to their effort to celebrate and extend the vision, tradition, and legacy of black freshness in their new campaign created by Kitchen Table.
We’re excited to have a hand in bringing the campaign’s visions to life in the form of an experiential activation honoring brand partner and Atlanta NFL player, Kyle Pitts who’s featurd in the lead campaign creative.
